Yes, just do it. Dive into this place because it's amazing. I've visited Adelitas on Taco Tuesday and Maria Empanadas but never noticed this gem of a restaurant sitting next to Chupaflor until a friend took me here for a birthday dinner. The drinks are delicious and worth the money. From what I hear it's gotten very popular so we did wait at the bar for a bit before we were seated. The inside is small and only has a couple of group tables so if you're coming with a large group, plan ahead. We ordered a Queso Fundido as an appetizer. It was delicious but we definitely had to order more flour tortillas! I had Enchiladas de Oaxaca, again, delicious and filling! I'm definitely visiting again! I think the owner also owns Adelitas because their tacos were on the menu. Both restaurants have different vibes and I think I definitely prefer this one because of the menu.

Sunday happy hour...We ordered $1.50 chips & salsa (HH)...fresh salsa, warm perfect chips. Cocktails: House Margarita w/ mezcal & Infinite Green. Both beverages were awesome.
Time: it took 15min for our beverages to be made (full bar top and 2 tables in dining). Our food came out within 5min of ordering (same time as our drinks arrived). It would be 5 stars if our beverages came out 10 min or less not to argue about how much of a first world problem that is... but service was great and food and beverages were fantastic--same quality as their sister, Adelitas which we went to for a fast cocktail after our dinner here. -

The food was AMAZING and so unique. I appreciated that our waiter traveled to Mexico and knew quite a lot about the culture and food we were experiencing. A few slip ups, for example we didn't get our second round of margs and the check came late. Other than that, a really great birthday dinner for my mom! Would recommend!

This place is excellent. Some of the best mole I have ever had and the service was great as well. Not a big mezcal fan and still loved their cocktails too. Not to mention that the space is beautiful! We will be coming back often.

What a gem! They have such an incredible selection of mezcal and can tell you all about it. I also love their house marg made mezcal. It's the perfect sweet, citrus, and smoky combo (and a great deal at only $7)! I also am a big fan of their tortilla chips. May sound strange, but as a chip and dip lover, I appreciate the perfect crunch and amount of salt. The guac is great and I also liked the ceviche I ordered. I was there for a birthday party and though it took a while for us to get a table (they don't take reservations) it was really fun. We were able to hang out at the bar and have drinks while waiting and then the staff did a great job of accommodating our growing group. I'll definitely be back!
